• 10baggerbamm OP maximusolaris : oh I'm in it at this point it only can go down two more dollars and then it's zero bid so fuck it right the bottom line is last quarter was very good, it was very optimistic but the China issue does  present a bit of a problem because it's possible that the contracts they have entered into while not disclosed they're not in sec filing on any website it's very possible they got duped by better attorneys from the customers. it's purely speculative but it's possible that any cost increases you're going to absorb any increase in manufacturing expenses you're going to absorb and now they're locked into manufacture and deliver batteries at a loss that's the only thing I can think of that somebody maybe got a bit of this information ahead of the curve and that's why they're exiting stage left right now.

• maximusolaris OP 10baggerbamm : if i understand correctly they just issued warrants @ $11.50 and i dont think they would set them at that price if they forsee problems. They might actually be seeing some big contracts but yeah this drops makes me wonder. Will see what they say may 8th

• ASteffie : Amprius will pay it on the freight invoice for a few years, or they 《Chin-A*) pay a lump sum  When we speak China and components, we speak reversed engineered and dirt cheap labor. The parts are very inexpensive from everything i find.  You know what's expensive? Europe.  America.  Anyways, the tarrifs they have are mostly 8%. So I've seen it go from 40% about 5 weeks ago to now 8% on my quotes. It'll be fine.

• 10baggerbamm OP ASteffie : yeah you were going to have to listen to the conference call because every company and they're not the only battery manufacturer in the US there's several others they're all in the same boat so obviously it is beneficial for them to have a 25% tariff coming from China versus 145% tariff.. maybe there's some alternate sources that they can get some components from I don't know that's why it's really up to the conference call same with the ENVX, there are similar manufacturer of slightly different technology but same thing they source from China.. and I'm pretty sure their conference calls coming up just prior to ampx... so put that one on your calendar and see what they say because they're going to have to deal with the same issues
