Conpany paying dividend usually will lower the stock price to match the price for those who wish to buy after the ex-dividend date. So people thinking that these dividend are extra money the company forked out to investor but its not true.
worst if you are oversea investor. U will be taxed after collecting the divi.
so morale of the story, dont touch divi stock at all unless its a growing stock. Definitely not pfe
