Risk off indicators have now switched on after the snap in the 9 consecutive days of green in the SPX yesterday. Gold is up, Silver is up, 30YR is up by quite a lot, VIX has gone back up, BTC (which has a tendency to front run the SPX) is down, and the USD is also down quite a lot vs other currencies.
The market appears to be at another juncture which can go one way or the other this week. There's a 10YR auction today May 6 (1300hr...

The SPY is actually quite strong. It's clear that institutional investors do not want it to go below 561-562. It's actually trying to target 570 (roughly the 200 SMA). This is a good sign as the market is forming structure for a further push upwards later in the week. Please note that whilst nearly all the megacaps have reported, it's still a very significant earnings week.
