0.1 billion dollars! WeRide disclosed the latest investment details from Uber: over the next 5 years, Robotaxi will be deployed in 15 new cities overseas.
Sina Technology reported on the evening of May 7 that WeRide updated its public information, disclosing Uber's latest investment in the company: Uber has committed to an additional $0.1 billion Private Equity investment on top of its existing investment. WeRide stated to Sina Technology that this is Uber's largest investment to date in the field of autonomous driving. This investment will be finalized in the coming months at a time chosen by WeRide. Currently, Uber and WeRide are jointly operating the largest Robotaxi fleet outside of the Global China-US market. On May 6, both parties jointly announced plans to deploy in 15 new cities over the next five years.
