Moomoo declared 'best global investing platform'

Moomoo was named the best global investment platform at the 2025 Sensor Tower APAC Awards held in February.

The awards focus on 'defining the digital future' across the Asia-Pacific region, identifying creative and impactful apps in four categories: finance, lifestyle, productivity and gaming.

The moomoo app was named 'best global investment platform' after ranking among the top 10 in Japan and the United States in 2025. In the same year it experienced a surge in monthly users across South-East Asia. It was also the most downloaded trading app in Singapore, Malaysia and Australia.

"Its seamless cross-market experience empowers modern investors with professional tools across diverse global regions," stated Sensor Tower in its announcement.

Moomoo is available in eight world markets (Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Hong Kong, the United States and Canada) and has more than 30 million registered users globally.

The app exists to open the world of smarter investing to all. To that end it features up-to-the-minute news, competitive brokerage, live quotes, Level 2 data, and more than 10,000 stocks and ETFs across the Hong Kong, US and Australian markets.

Sensor Tower data reveals that in Australia, moomoo is now in its second year as the nation's most downloaded trading app.* Moomoo achieved this record soon after launching in the market in 2022.

Last year the service was extended to New Zealand where it is gaining recognition in key markets.
