Moomoo named Australia's most-trusted investing app

Australia's most trusted micro-investing app is moomoo – the global trading platform that arrived down under four years ago and in a short time became the nation's most downloaded.

Moomoo was recognised at the recent 2026 Finder Customer Satisfaction Awards, where the app notched up a total score of 4.37 to win the Most Trusted Micro-Investing App category.

To determine its results, Finder polled more than 60,000 Australians to rate products and services they used, scoring across a number of metrics to determine a final result.

This latest endorsement of the moomoo app follows awards in May, where moomoo was given three outstanding value awards by Canstar across the range of Australian investors (casual, active and traders).

Another indication of the widespread support for moomoo is the app's status as the most-downloaded trading app in Australia for a second year.

"Our mission is to make investing a viable option for people to achieve their financial goals," said Moomoo Australia and New Zealand chief executive officer Michael McCarthy. "By providing the tools and data investors need, and supporting them through 'the daily moo' podcast, our stores and local events, we are seeing Australians' trust in moomoo continue to grow."

Earlier this year Finder named moomoo the best mobile trading app, best for US trading, and best for active traders, at its share-trading platform awards for 2026.

How Finder decides the winners

For Finder's 2026 Customer Satisfaction Awards, Australians rated brands they have used across a number of product categories using various metrics, including trust, customer service, value and overall satisfaction.

People reviewed products they had purchased or used recently. They responded to such queries as 'would you recommend this brand to a friend?' and how they would rate brands for their customer service, trust, reliability, features and value.
