1. Device Lock
1.1 What is a device lock?
Device lock is a function to improve the security of your account.
After device lock is enabled, when you log in on a new device for the first time using your account, email, or phone number, the system will require three-step verification: your login password, an SMS verification code, and authorisation confirmation on a previously logged-in trusted device. This verification is only triggered during the first login attempt on that new device.
1.2 How to turn on device lock？
Path: "Me" - "Settings" - "Passwords and Security" - "Manage Devices" - "Device Lock"
To ensure your account security, the device lock feature is enabled by default for all opened accounts.
If you have not yet bound a mobile number or set a login password, you will be unable to turn on the device lock. You must first complete your mobile number binding and set up your login password before you can enable this feature.
1.3 How to turn off device lock?
Once device lock is turned on, it cannot be turned off.
2. moomoo Token
2.1 What is moomoo token?
moomoo token is a mobile product ensuring transaction security of your account.
When moomoo token is turned on, you should verify both the dynamic password and transaction password during the transaction. To use moomoo token, you need to connect your account and turn on the token.
2.2 How to turn on moomoo token?
2.2.1 Connect Account
Path: "Me" - "Settings" - "Passwords and Security" - "moomoo Token"
Before connecting token, you need to download moomoo Token via app stores to connect moomoo token.
2.2.1 Turn on Token
Path: "Me" - "Settings" - "Passwords and Security" - "moomoo Token" - "Turn on moomoo Token"
After moomoo token is enabled, you should verify both the dynamic password and transaction password during the transaction.
2.2.3 Disconnect Token
Path: "Me" - "Settings" - "Passwords and Security" - "moomoo Token" - "Turn off Token" - "Disconnect moomoo Token"
Connected token can only be disconnected after you turn off moomoo token.
Note: If you delete the moomoo Token App before disconnecting the token, you will only be able to disconnect it by contacting our Customer Service. To avoid impacting your trading experience, please proceed with caution when deleting the moomoo Token App.
3. Assets Info Lock
3.1 What is assets info lock?
Assets info lock aims to ensure your asset privacy.
After you turn on assets info lock, you need to verify your face/gesture when entering your account page (such as Trade page or Moomoo Wealth page).
3.2 How to turn on assets info lock?
Path: "Me" - "Settings" - "Passwords and Security" - "Assets Info Lock"
3.3 After turning on assets info lock
After you turn on assets info lock, when entering your account page (such as Trade page or Moomoo Wealth page), you will be required to complete verification through your pre-set verification method(s) before you can view your account information.
