Columns Hewlett Packard Pops Some 7% on Word Activist Elliott Has $1 Billion+ Stake

$Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE.US)$ rose more than 7% Tuesday morning on word that activist investor Elliott Management has taken a greater than $1 billion stake in the tech giant.
HPE gained 7.4% to $15.34 shortly after 10 a.m. ET after Bloomberg News reported on Elliott's move.

We are just 1 day away from “Liberation Day”. Both S&P500 and Nasdaq are down more than 0.7% as of the time of writing.
Investors are still feeling nervy and jittery ahead of the big day where reciprocal tariffs will come into effect.
If there is a broad-based sanction on all countries from Trump, it could escalate to a global trade war, with a lot of tit for tat going on. This is definitely not good for US and global economy
