Today I topped up my QID, SDS, SPXS, VXX, SOXS as the markets flowed up nicely today with light volumes. Also added SQQQ to my portfolio which is 3X short on NASDAQ 100 the QQQ as NASDAQ hits its upper trend line at resistance.

On Friday, the markets looked very tired and exhausted for moving upward. The volumes were veey small and on a Friday, normally the buy the dippers should float the markets up. However we did not see rhat. Even semicon chip stock AVGO had a monster pop, up 25% the NASDAQ was only up 24 points and S&P 500 ended the day flat. FYI , AVGO is a number 8 stock on market cap right after the mag 7. AVGO is also a trillion market cap chi...

There are lots of people predicting the market crash to happen. However, I don’t think market correction will happen before the US Presidential election. In my opinion there are probably another 4% to 5% upside for the stock markets as we progress into the election. As I posted this week, if the markets push up to all time high and is unable to maintain its price for a few days, then careful a correction may happen. As we see early in the trading hours, everything was pushing up but suddenly it starts to lose steam and now all in negative territory. Seems like the big money is starting to sell off ahead of the Fed decision tomorrow.

Not much to update today. Jolt report released today shows new job openning is much weaker than expected. Nvidia continue showing weakness after yesterday’s $300B market cap evaborated.
