Crafting Your Customized Watchlist
Hello, and welcome aboard the moomoo app!
In this video, we'll walk you through how you can manage the watchlist to keep a close eye on the price movements of your favourite stocks.
Let's start by adding a stock symbol to your watchlist. Head to the lower left corner of the watchlist and tap 'Add Symbol', before typing in the symbol ticker or the company name.
You can also add or remove a stock symbol from the watchlist by tapping the heart icon on the top menu of its detailed quotes page.
Once you've added your symbols, click on this top right icon to create groups that will automatically categorise your watchlist by different countries or asset classes. You can create up to a total of 100 groups.
To manage your watchlist,
Simply tap on 'Edit List' at the bottom of your watchlist to rearrange the order of your stock symbols or to remove any symbols.
You can also enter edit mode by long pressing on a stock symbol. This opens up more options such as pinning an important symbol, leaving remarks or grouping a number of stock symbols together.
You can also configure how symbols and quotes are shown on your watchlist through these icons in the upper left corner.
The first one allows you to toggle between landscape and portrait mode for a better view, while the second icon changes the format and type of information displayed.
The third icon reveals candlestick charts for all your watchlisted stocks, allowing you to quickly screen and compare stocks using different indicators across different timeframes.
By clicking on the last icon, you can access the watchlist settings, where you can configure quote colours, mode, display options and more according to your preference.
Last but not least, you can also click on each column on the upper right corner of the list to sort your watchlisted stocks by price, trading volume, % change in price and more.
