How do I open an account with moomoo

1. Download and install the moomoo app.

2. Sign up for a moomoo account and tap Open Account.

3. Select your tax residence as the United States (US), or another country or region.

  A. US Tax Residency: Your Social Security Number (SSN) and a valid US address will be required.

  B. Other Tax Residency: Your passport/ID card and a valid proof of address will be required.

4. Follow the instructions to fill in your account information.

5. Submit your application to open a new account.

Notes:

• The documents required to open an account may vary from country to country. For details, please refer to the instructions in the app.

• A valid proof of address includes a bank statement, rental contract, or utility bill. Please provide a photo of any one of the three documents and make sure it contains your full name, address, name of the issuer, and date of issue (issued within the last 3 months). Scanned copies or screenshots will not be accepted.

• It usually takes 15 to 40 minutes for automatic approval of your application. If a manual review is required, it may take up to 3 business days. We will notify you via email and app notification once your account is approved.

• If additional documents are requested during the account opening process, instructions will be sent via app notifications.
