Campaign Eligibility

Referrer Eligibility: Users who possess a moomoo ID or a Moomoo Securities Malaysia universal account [1].

[1] Users must be Malaysian residents, defined as registering via a Malaysian mobile phone number or using a Malaysian IP address.

Rewards For Referrer

1. New Year HUAT Angpao

Mechanics: During the campaign period, all users with a moomoo ID or a Moomoo Securities Malaysia universal account can claim one New Year Angpao.

Rewards: The New Year Angpao is a luck-based packet. Open the Angpao to Win up to the following rewards:

● Deposited Users: Randomly Win up to one of the following: RM888 Stock Cash Coupon, RM188 Stock Cash Coupon,NVIDIA Fractional Share (worth RM68), RM18 Stock Cash Coupon, RM12 Stock Cash Coupon, RM3.80 Stock Cash Coupon, 300 Points, or 100 Points.

● Non-Deposited Users: Will receive two rewards. Notes:

③ Rewards received by non-deposited users are in a frozen state. The user must deposit ≥RM1 within 30 days of claiming the reward to unlock and use it.

2. Gift Angpao (Be the God of Wealth)

Mechanics: During the campaign period, all users with a moomoo ID or a Moomoo Securities Malaysia universal account can Gift Angpao to friends for free. The more Angpaos gifted, the more additional rewards can be claimed.

Rewards: For every Angpao successfully gifted, you earn one additional reward chance. Rewards include Points, Stock Cash Coupons, and Limited Edition Moo Skins.

Notes:

① An Angpao is considered successfully "gifted/claimed" when a friend logs into moomoo via the shared page or registers for moomoo using a MY mobile number and opens the Angpao.

② During the campaign, the referrer can invite multiple friends to claim Angpaos. There is no limit on the number of friends invited, but the maximum number of times to claim the reward for inviting is 10.

3. Gift Angpao on Red Note

Mechanics: During the campaign period, share the specified graphic and text information fully on the social media platform Red Note to receive rewards.

Rewards: 

Win 300 Points: Share this activity on Red Note and upload the screenshot here. Points will be credited upon approval.

Win New Year Angpao Envelopes: Get 15+ likes on your post and show it at our physical stores to redeem a set of Limited Edition New Year Angpao envelopes.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1: Do I need to pay to Gift Angpao to friends? Is there a limit on the quantity?

No. Moomoo pays, you Gift Angpao. You do not need to spend your own money, and you can gift unlimited Angpaos.

Q2: I have already claimed an Angpao. If my friend gifts me another one, can I still claim it?

No. The campaign rules state that each user can only claim one New Year Angpao. However, you can earn more rewards by Gifting Angpao to friends.

Q3: If the referrer belongs to the MY region, but the referee opens an SG account, how are rewards distributed?

Rewards will be distributed according to the campaign rules of the region where the referee is located. In the case described, rewards will be issued to the referrer according to the reward rules of the SG region.

Terms & Conditions

1. The rewards and offers in this campaign/promotion ("Campaign/Promotion") are provided by Moomoo Securities Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. ("Moomoo MY"). By participating in this Campaign/Promotion, you undertake to have carefully read and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Campaign/Promotion ("Terms and Conditions"), as well as the terms and conditions of the existing Client Agreement. Moomoo MY has the final decision on the eligibility of participants in this Campaign/Promotion. 

2. Moomoo MY has the final right to interpret these terms and conditions. The data and data confirmed of this Promotion shall be subject to confirmation by Moomoo MY's back-end data. Moomoo MY reserves the right to: (i) amend these Campaign/Promotion Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice to you, and (ii) change, withdraw or terminate any offer or reward without disclosing the reason and without making compensation or remuneration. Any adjustments or decisions made by Moomoo MY in connection with this Campaign/Promotion shall be binding on all participants. 

3. You shall be responsible for any telephone, internet and other charges that may be incurred. 

4. Currently, Moomoo MY limits sign-ups to a limited group of nationalities. Please click on the drop down box during your account opening process to see if your nationality is available on the list. 

5. You can only open one universal account with Moomoo MY. Moomoo MY does not allow one person to open a universal account on behalf of another person (i.e. Non-beneficial owners are not allowed to open accounts). Please do not open the universal account if you are not the ultimate beneficial owner. If your universal account shows signs of fraud, abuse, or suspicious activity, such as the use of multiple accounts or devices, Moomoo MY may, at its sole discretion, confiscate your reward entitlements and limit your opportunities to participate in future campaigns/promotions. 

6. Each device, whether mobile or computer, can only receive one set of account opening bonus, deposit bonus and/or referral bonus. The same user can only be invited once. The same moomoo account, the same mobile phone number, and the same device are all regarded as representing the same user. 

7. In Malaysia, the investment products available through the Moomoo app are offered by Moomoo MY, a licensed entity registered with Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) (License No. eCMSL/A0397/2024). Moomoo MY shall not be responsible for any injury, loss or damage suffered as a result of, or in connection with this Campaign/Promotion and/or redemption or use of the prize/rewards, any breakdown or malfunction in any computer system or equipment, any notice which is misdirected and/or lost in the post, loss of income, profits or goodwill, direct or indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive or special damages of any party including thrid parties howsoever arising whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise. For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation, suspension or termination by Moomoo MY of this Campaign/Promotion shall not entitled any party to any claim or compensation against Moomoo MY for any and all losses or damage suffered or incurred directly or indirectly resulting therefrom. 

10. Any trademarks, graphic symbols, logos, or intellectual property contained in any materials relating to this Campaign/Promotion, particularly in connection with the rewards/prizes, are the property of their respective owners. Moomoo MY does not provide any financial advice, endorsement or sponsorship of its products or services. 

11. This Campaign/Promotion is not eligible to users whose names are on the "Moomoo MY Event Participation Ban List". If a user repeatedly violates safety rules of Moomoo MY, their name will be added to the "Moomoo MY Event Participation Ban List". 

12. Should a user not fulfill all the stated conditions of this Campaign/Promotion, Moomoo MY reserves the right to cancel all offers or benefits promised in this event. Commissions and fees will then be charged by Moomoo MY as per normal standards. 

13. In order to ensure the fairness of the Campaign/Promotion, the Campaign/Promotion may have restrictions on the daily reward distribution limit, the total reward distribution limit, and the upper limit of rewards received by a single user. If the system finds abnormal participation behaviors (including but not limited to using mobile device emulators and manually modifying mobile phone device numbers), the system will automatically suspend their participation in the Campaign/Promotion. 

14. By participating in this Campaign/Promotion, Participant hereby grants full and unconditional consent to Moomoo MY to use, reproduce, distribute and publicly display all images and videos content, including but not limited to photographs, videos and audio recordings (collectively referred to as "Content"). 

15. Cash Rewards do not have any buying power until the face value of the Cash Reward is credited to your brokerage account. The use of cash rewards depends on the order amount, product type, applicable market, and other conditions. Cash Rewards can be used only once per order. Cash Rewards can be used in conjunction with a Commission Discount or Zero Commission Coupon. By default, Cash Rewards with the earliest expiration will be used first. If two or more Cash Rewards have the same expiration date, by default, the Cash Rewards with the higher denomination will be used first. Cash Rewards are not registered, non-transferrable, irrecoverable once lost, and can be used only once. Cash Rewards are promotion rewards, and Moomoo MY reserves the right to reclaim Cash Rewards acquired via inappropriate means, such as exploiting system vulnerabilities, hacking, and false pretenses. 

16. The Terms and Conditions are written in both Chinese and English. In the event of any discrepancy between the Chinese version and the English version, the English version shall prevail.
