How To Transfer US Assets to Moomoo Financial

Transferring assets into Moomoo Financial is very easy through our mobile app. These are the steps to initiate a transfer from another firm to Moomoo Financial.

 

1. Log Into the Moomoo Mobile App

In the Moomoo app, click Accounts -> Transfers -> Transfer Stock In -> US Stocks -> Select Account for Transfer

 

2. Enter Outside Brokerage Account Information

The first step is selecting your brokerage firm. There are many common brokerage firms listed in the "Select Brokerage Firm" section. Scroll down until you find the broker you are looking to transfer from and click it.

 

If your brokerage firm is not listed, scroll down and click "Enter other broker" at the bottom of the page.

 

Next, you must put in the information about your brokerage account/firm. For commonly listed brokerage firms, type in the account number at the corresponding firm. For other brokerage firms, type in the name of the brokerage firm, account number, DTC number, and contact information.

3. Enter Transfer Information

Follow the on-screen instructions to indicate the shares, options, or other supported securities you plan to bring over. For common brokerage firms, you may select a full transfer or a partial transfer.

 

4. Confirm Details of Transfer and Submit

 

Make sure to double check the details on the transfer. Incorrect information could cause a delay in processing. You can edit the information at any time via by pressing "Transfer-In History" at the bottom of the US stocks and HK stocks page.

 

Keep In Mind:

● Both accounts must have matching legal names.

● Moomoo Financial Inc. does not charge fees for transfers, but the outside firm may.

● The whole process can take anywhere between 10-14 business days but could take longer.
