Transfer Stocks

You can easily transfer stocks into or out of Moomoo Financial Inc. by submitting a request whenever needed.

Transfer stocks in

To submit a transfer-in request, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Accounts page > Tap Transfers on the top navigation bar > Tap Transfer Stock In.

2. Choose the type of stock you wish to transfer: US stocks or Hong Kong stocks.

3. Select the type of moomoo account to receive the stocks (if you have multiple account types).

4. Select the brokerage from which you want to transfer your stocks.

5. Enter your account number associated with the other brokerage.

6. If you can't find your brokerage in the list, tap Enter Other Broker and enter its name manually.

7. Start a partial or full transfer.

8. Fill in the transfer details.

9. Confirm and submit the transfer-in request. Your transfer-in request will then be processed.

• Before submitting a transfer-in request, please note the following information:

• Eligible stocks: US and Hong Kong stocks.

• Supported transfer methods: ACATS (Automated Customer Account Transfer Service), ACATS Plaid, and FOP (Free of Payment).

• Same account holder: Stocks can only be transferred between accounts under the same name.

• Fees: Moomoo Financial Inc. does not charge any fees for transfer-in, but the outside brokerage firm may.

• Processing time: Once the other brokerage firm transfers your stocks out, it usually takes 1-2 business days for these stocks to appear in your moomoo account.

US stocks

• To submit a transfer-out request for US stocks, please send an email to cs@us.moomoo.com using the following template:

Hong Kong stocks

• To submit a transfer-out request for Hong Kong stocks, please send an email to cs@us.moomoo.com using the following template:

• Before submitting a transfer-out request, please note the following information:

• Eligible stocks: US and Hong Kong stocks.

• Same account holder: Stocks can only be transferred between accounts under the same name.

• Processing time: Transferring US or Hong Kong stocks usually takes 2-3 weeks, but actual times may vary based on brokerage processing.

View history

The steps to check transfer-in and transfer-out histories are similar. Here’s how to check your transfer-in history as an example:

1. Accounts > Transfers > Transfer Stocks In.

2. Tap Transfer In History at the bottom of the page.

3. Depending on the status of your transfer-in request, you can choose to cancel, modify, or delete an entry from this page.
