Lite & Pro Trade Modes

Moomoo offers two interfaces for the trade page to accommodate different user preferences:

To switch modes, simply tap Lite or Pro at the top right of the trade page, then select your desired mode.

Lite mode

To place an order using the Lite mode, follow these steps:

  1. Select a trade direction by tapping Buy or Sell.

  2. Select session.

  3. Select an order type. Moomoo offers a range of versatile order types to help you execute your strategies. To view order tips, tap the (i) icon next to Order Type.

  4. Set order details based on the order type you select. Note that you don't need to set prices for market orders.

      Set price:

      Set quantity:

    • Enter your desired quantity directly or use the “-” and “+” buttons to adjust.

    • Tap the "gauge" icon for quantity shortcuts.

    • Enter your desired price directly or use the “-” and “+” buttons to adjust.

    • Tap the “crosshair” icon to follow the market price, mid price, or the best bid or ask.

  5. Select time-in-force. To view tips, tap the (i) icons next to Session and Time-in-Force.

  6. Tap the Buy or Sell button to submit the order.

Pro mode

The Pro mode offers enhanced capabilities.

  1. Attached Order

    •  You can choose to add an attached order to take profit, stop loss, or do both with a bracket order.
  2. Algo Order Types

    • Access three advanced algo order types: TWAP (time-weighted average price), VWAP (volume-weighted average price), and POV (percentage-of-volume) orders.
  3. Order Book

    • Swipe up on to access the order book of the current symbol.
